On June 12, at the coming of the Dragon Boat Festival, the first LAOX SELECT store in China was officially opened at Janbon CCPARK. Liu Yanqiu, Deputy Secretary-General of Jinan Municipal Government and Executive Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Jinan Pilot Free Trade Zone of China (Shandong), Sun Zhanyu, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of Jinan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Yang Chuanjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of Lixia District, Zhang Tao, Deputy Head of Lixia District Government, Zhang Xiaofan, member of the Party Working Committee of Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Han Tianying, Deputy Director of the Bonded Trade Department of Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone Development Center, Secretary of the Party Group, and Director of the Bureau of Commerce of Jinan City, Li Jun, Deputy General Manager of Jinan Hi-Tech Holding Group and Chairman of Jinan Wisdom Valley Company, and other leaders visited LAOX SELECT and inspected the project launch on site.

Municipal and district leaders learned in detail about the flow of customers on that day, as well as the categories, prices, and sales of Japanese famous brands such as Lion King, Kao, Shiseido, Panasonic, and Kobayashi Pharmaceutical in the store, gave full recognition and affirmation to the opening of LAOX SELECT, the first store of TESCO's cross-border e-commerce project in China, to the doorstep of Jinan citizens, and hoped that LAOX SELECT, the first store in China, would continue to rely on LAOX overseas trade and cross-border e-commerce overseas market resources, to benefit consumers, meet the consumption needs of Jinan citizens for quality foreign goods, and contribute to the economic growth of Jinan.

The TESCO cross-border e-commerce project is a key introduction project in Jinan Pilot Free Trade Zone and Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone of China in 2021. In January this year, the Management Committee of Jinan Pilot Free Trade Zone of China (Shandong), the Management Committee of Jinan Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Japan LAOX Corporation, and Shandong Janbon Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement for TESCO's cross-border e-commerce project. After the project launch construction "route map" is determined, the Jinan area gives full play to its own advantages and actively acts, including reversing the project schedule and hanging the map, to create a good environment for the development of the project and promote the project launch sparing no effort. On April 22, northern China headquarter regional company of LAOX—TESCO (Jinan) Commerce and Trade Co., Ltd.—was established; on June 12, the pioneer store of Japanese culture product exhibition and trading center—LAOX SELECT, which is the first in China—was open for business. In less than 5 months, Japan LAOX is opened at the doorstep of Jinan citizens, and Janbon Group takes a new step in the expansion of opening up upholding the concept of "connect to create value" to facilitate the "speed of free trade".
