On October 20, the Symposium of Heads of Shandong Overseas Talent Agencies & Founding Conference of Shandong Foreign Intelligence Introduction Alliance was held in Qingdao. Shandong Janbon Technology Development Group Co., Ltd. (“Janbon Technology”), as one of the initiators and members of the Shandong Foreign Intelligence Introduction Alliance (“Shandong Intelligence Introduction Alliance”), participated in the conference. President Xiao Weibin was elected as the first rotating president of the alliance.

This conference was sponsored by the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, organized by the Shandong Academicians and Experts’ Federation and the Shandong Association for International Exchange of Personnel. Yang Junke, director of the International Office of the China International Talent Exchange Center, as well as Zhang Zhuxiu, director of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs, attended the conference and inaugurated the alliance. The persons in charge of overseas talent cooperation agencies, representatives of the initiators of the alliance, representatives of member units, representatives of related enterprises and institutions, and guests from all walks of life, a total of more than 200 persons, were present at the conference.

Zhang Zhuxiu, director of the Shandong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs, said, “The alliance has ‘Three Goals’: Internationalzation, Specialization and Intelligence. The development path of the alliance is achieving contribution and sharing, instilling the thought of ‘many hands make light work’, providing services for all sectors of the society, and contributing all aspects of strength to our entity.”

In the speech, President Xiao Weibin hoped to give play to the market role of an enterprise to make it a supplement to the government system, and jointly build a new model of talent introduction with the characteristics of Shandong.

The Shandong Foreign Intelligence Introduction Alliance is a non-profit and unincorporated social organization jointly initiated by the Shandong Association for International Exchange of Personnel, the Overseas Liaison Office of Shandong Province and the Shandong Talent Workstation under the support and guidance of the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology (Shandong Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs). It is aimed at insisting on the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, implementing the strategies of a talent-based province and innovation-driven development proposed by the provincial committee and government, further enhancing scientific and technological innovation and international talent exchanges in a new situation, fully exploring and satisfying the requirements for talent innovation and entrepreneurship in “Top 10” industries for replacement of old growth drivers with new ones and the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, focusing on introducing a large number of overseas and domestic high-end talents and teams to Shandong, developing cooperation channels, setting up platforms, sharing resources and promoting development.
